DIY Radon Mitigation Guide Digital Download
$50.00
The owner of RADONreduction, a certified radon mitigation professional, takes you through what his approach would be for the do-it-yourself homeowner to install a radon mitigation system. This guide has instructions and tips, written in plain language, for a basic active sub-slab depressurization radon mitigation system.
This guidebook is recommended for use with a RADONreduction DIY Kit which includes the essential radon-specific components. A radon mitigation system is best installed by a certified professional, however some people prefer the D.I.Y. route. This guide is intended to drastically improve the odds of DIY success through a simplified, yet very effective approach. Each house and situation are different; therefore, this guide will need to be adapted to your unique situation. Basic knowledge and experience in construction is expected, and commonly found tools and materials are required.
Note: Not intended for houses with ICF or wood foundations, some split-levels, load-bearing walls, basement additions, crawlspaces, channel drains or using a radon rough-in or sump cover as the suction point, or houses outside Canada.
